Gordo's Cheese Dip

Charlie & Sons Inc., Lake City, Ga.

Ben Goldman, 7th grade:

This is close to the best nacho cheese I've ever had. It tastes zesty, but not enough to blow out your nostrils. The texture is creamy and rich, kinda like eating or drinking from a heavenly stream, plus it smells pretty interesting. Although the packaging doesn't quite do it for me, who wouldn't like this dip?

Katherine Reifler, 7th grade:
The cheese dip smells very good, sweet but kind of spicy like a big chunk of cheese. The packaging is very appealing; it's bright and colorful, so it attracts your attention. It looks Mexican and Mexican reminds me of spicy. I think a warm spicy cheese is good, but I think it tastes a little too much like a cheese stick. It's a little too thick, so it tastes heavy. I think teens would like this product because it's quick, good and cheap and it goes with chips. It's too unhealthy for adults, and younger kids don't really like products like this.

Alex Locher, 7th grade:
Instantly, I was sucked in by the great smell , cheesy and a bit spicy. It tastes even better than it smells! The packaging isn't too vibrant and colorful, but it doesn't matter because it tastes awesome!!!

Monique Brown, 7th grade:
It has a good taste, really gooey and runny. It needs to smell more like cheese. Everybody would like it, especially Mexican-Americans.

Ester Ramirez, 7th grade:
This cheese dip is really good. It's soft and easy to swallow, has a kind of spicy taste, and it smells like ranch dressing. The packaging is good; it keeps the dip fresh. Everybody would buy this product: children and teenagers as a snack, and adults to accompany their food. It can be used in many ways.

Sam Stohl, 7th grade:
The packaging is really dull and pretty stupid, but at least it looks a little different. It smells like cheese and nacho with a hint of pepper. I like the taste, but a bit of tweaking of the packaging would make it better. Don't be tricked by the look. It tastes great with an awesome cheesy flavor in every bite. I definitely recommend this for the shelves. It goes great with chips for any occasion.

Amber Allen, 7th grade:
The taste is outstandingly delicious. It's like mozzarella mixed with seasoning. The texture is smooth and creamy. It isn't as watery or crunchy as it looks. The smell is as appetizing as the taste ,- like cheese with jalapeno sauce in it. The packaging is appealing as well as original, and it's easy to open. I think this will appeal to all ages, because it's a family kind of dip.

Eric Janich, 7th grade:
I like it and it has a good texture. If I go to the store, would I buy something called Gordo's Cheese Dip? I mean, come on, if you change the name, you'll get better sales.

Karvdon Reid, 7th grade:
It tastes like heaven. You guys should sell this at movie theaters. It tastes like buttered popcorn. It's as easy as one, two, three to open. Adults will like this too.

Nico Ross, 7th grade:
This tastes really good. Put some meat and peppers in it. You can even eat it for dinner. It's great, I'm telling you!

Alana Swanson, 7th grade:
The dip tastes OK. I don't like it very much; the texture is similar to glue and it's very gooey. It smells kind of like sour milk ,- very stinky. The packaging is pretty attractive and it's easy to open. This product is probably geared for adults or anyone who likes stinky cheese.

Itamar Menuhin, 7th grade:
I look at Gordo's Cheese Dip and what do I see? Pure goodness! It opens easily and clearly shows what's in there. I sniff it and feel like I'm swimming in heaven. The invigorating, deep cheese smell is so thick, I feel like I'm drowning. It's all gooey and good, with creamy, cheesy, salty stuff covering every bit. Children might find it too mature, but everyone else will love it.
