CT3 Measures Texture at a Fraction of the Cost

Sept. 11, 2008

The CT3 Texture Analyzer is a powerful, low-cost, stand-alone instrument that features not only the traditional Compression Mode, but also the latest Tension Mode. Manufacturers can test their products and the packaging as well. The CT3's large, vertical work area is ideal for large sample placement. This also allows for increased travel distance maximizing the functionality of the new Tension Mode. The CT3 offers load cells in 100g, 1,000g, 1,500g, 4,500g and 10kg. The 10kg load limit more than doubles the limit of its predecessor, the LFRA Texture Analyzer. It features a broader speed range for probe movement, a USB port for direct connection to a PC and an optional temperature probe.
