ADM Reduces Energy Usage by 38%, Brings on Energy Director to Reduce another 15%

Archer Daniels Midland brought on Thomas Mort, CEM, as its corporate energy director in 2011. This year, the firm has completed $50 million of savings.

With an annual energy spend in excess of $1 billion, ADM hired Thomas Mort, CEM, as its corporate energy director in 2011 and tasked him with trimming an additional 15% from corporate energy use by 2020. Mort shared his progress with an impressed audience at the fourth annual American Manufacturing Strategies Summit.
