Bell Flavors identifies top flavors for 2012

Bell Flavors & Fragrances has selected the Top 10 sweet flavors, Top 10 savory flavors, Top 10 beverage flavors for 2012, and predicts Korean, Cajun and Greek will be the emerging cuisines, and salty caramel flavor will make the largest impact on all food and beverage products, and ginger orchid will be the No. 1 fragrance.

Bell Flavors & Fragrances has selected the Top 10 sweet flavors, Top 10 savory flavors, Top 10 beverage flavors for 2012, and predicts Korean, Cajun and Greek will be the emerging cuisines, and salty caramel flavor will make the largest impact on all food and beverage products, and ginger orchid will be the No. 1 fragrance.

Sweet flavors include salty caramel, red velvet, strawberry jasmine, cinnamon chipotle, eucalyptus, taro/sweet potato, roasted coconut, café de olla, Lucuma and white sesame.

Savory flavors include white truffle oil, kimchi, absinthe, calamansi lime, rich umami, rose water, aged cayenne pepper, Satsuma orange, mirin and romesco.

Beverage flavors are lemonade, maqui berry, aloe vera, white tea, mamey, cucumber mint, chrysanthemum, kumquat, honey ginger and green coconut.
