03/29/2005
Soya Treat, India's first Solae co-branded ready-to-drink soy beverage, was launched in India by The Solae Company â a joint venture between DuPont and Bunge â in association with Delhi-based customer Healthcare Processors. Soya Treat uses a blend of Solae soy protein isolates and fruits and is available in two sub-brands, each featuring two flavors: Juicy Soya Treat, in orange and mixed fruit flavors; and Soya Treat Premium, in natural and chocolate flavors.
Sanjeev Chaudhry, area director â South Asia, and business head â India for The Solae Company, said, "The launch of Soya Treat is allows us to enlarge Solae's presence in India by tapping into different segments within the food and beverage market."
Soya Treat is the third Solae co-branded product available in India. It was preceded by Soy Vita instant soy milk powder and Starnuts health bar. The Solae Company also launched Soy Day texturized soy proteins, available in nuggets, chunks, and flakes.
