Chefs Challenged to Whip Up a Tater Innovator

Chefs are invited to enter the Potato Innovation Recipe Contest, sponsored by the United States Potato Board, Denver. Winning recipes should dazzle the palate and emphasize America’s favorite vegetable in some innovative way.

Categories include: Healthy Potatoes, Ethnic, New Classics (traditional favorites with a contemporary twist). The grand prize winner receives a trip to the Napa Valley to attend the Eighth Annual Worlds of Flavor Conference at the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone in November. One winner in each category will be awarded $1,000. Entries must be received by May 31.
