Kellogg's comes to Gripz with new products for 'tweens'
Tweens simply have to rip the packaging and tip the tube for a great- tasting snack. Each box of Gripz contains nine easy-to-open snack packs, making them perfect for backpacks, lunch boxes and purses. Gripz' unique "Rip 'n Tip" packaging is not only entertaining, but also provides a tasty and portion-controlled snack option.
"Tweens look for unique snack options that can travel with them throughout their busy day," said Jenny Enochson, senior director of marketing communications, Kellogg Company. "Gripz provide kids with the freedom to have a great-tasting, convenient snack anytime, anywhere."
Gripz are lower in calories, making them a "better-for-you" snack alternative that parents can feel good about. Gripz Cheez-It snacks contain 120 calories, while Gripz Chips Deluxe contain 130 calories.
Gripz are currently available in grocery stores and retail locations nationwide and have a suggested retail price of $3.49 for an 8.1-ounce box containing nine individual Rip 'n Tip tubes.
