Sara Lee F&B names Feil as CMO/SVP

Feil will assume her responsibilities effective Sept. 6, 2005, and will report to Sara Lee Food & Beverage Chief Executive Officer Christopher J. (CJ) Fraleigh.

"She has an incredibly strong track record of building brands across a range of consumer product categories at major consumer product companies. She combines command of brand, consumer and field marketing with experience in sales, direct-store-delivery operations and strategic planning. Kim will immediately have an impact on our business as we increase resources for marketing and build our business around consumer insights, innovative new products and process improvement."
Feil will lead brand marketing, promotions and market research for Sara Lee Food & Beverage, the North American retail food organization of Sara Lee Corp.
With more than 20 years of experience, Kim joins Sara Lee Food & Beverage from Kimberly-Clark Corp., where she served as vice president and senior marketing officer of that company's North Atlantic businesses, including health and hygiene products marketed under the Huggies, Kleenex and Scott brands. She has also held marketing, sales and strategic planning positions with Cadbury Schweppes, Information Resources, Inc., and Pepsico. She has led food and beverage brands such as Doritos, Ruffles, KFC, 7-UP, Canada Dry and A&W.
Sara Lee Food & Beverage is the North American retail food division of Sara Lee Corp. Based in Downers Grove, Ill., Sara Lee Food & Beverage develops and sells many of the world's favorite high-quality baked goods, meats and coffee. Leading brands and products include Sara Lee fresh breads, frozen desserts and deli meats, Hillshire Farm lunchmeats, Jimmy Dean sausage and breakfast foods, Ball Park franks and the Senseo single-serve coffee system that uses the Douwe Egberts brand of European-style premium coffee.
