Reser's Fine Foods: Topeka plant opening
Reser’s Fine Foods Inc., Beaverton, Ore., in April dedicated a 200,000-sq.-ft., $36 million plant in Topeka, Kan. The plant will make side dishes, most with mashed potatoes, pasta and rice, including some of the new Shedd’s Country Crock side dishes from Unilever. It’s capable of a million lbs. of product per day and will employ 300. At the opening ceremony are (from left) COO Mark Reser, President Al Reser and Tony Kunis, general manager of all Reser’s Topeka facilities.
