Mars' Ralph Jerome honored by Rutgers University Food Science Alumni Society

Ralph Jerome, vice president of R&D for Mars Snackfood US, was awarded the “Distinguished Leadership Award in the Field of Food Science” on June 30 by the Rutgers University Food Science Alumni Society.
Recipients of the leadership award and two other awards are chosen annually based upon a membership vote, and they receive the awards at a Department/Alumni Society reception held at the annual Institute of Food Technologists meeting.
Jerome joined Mars in 1987 as a senior scientist but held various roles in Marketing and R&D, including international assignments. He holds six patents in food processing and food technology. He has a master’s degree in food science from Rutgers University and a bachelor of science degree from Cook College at Rutgers University.
