Michael O'Brien, formerly the chief financial officer of Pyramid Breweries in Seattle, will replace Natha on Sept. 2.
"We are extremely pleased to welcome Michael to the Jones Soda team," said Steve Jones, chief executive officer. "He will be able to build on the systems and controls already implemented by Hassan, who has been an important part of this team since 2006."
Natha will stay at the company until Sept. 14 to help with the transition, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Seattle-based Jones Soda sells pure cane soda in grocery stores, cafes and eateries. It also has an exclusive contract to sell beverages at Qwest Field.
