Corn Products Wants Out Of Merger With Bunge

While the two ingredient companies were called "an excellent business fit" when a proposed merger was announced June 23, Corn Products International's board now wants out of a merger with Bunge Ltd.

According to Corn Products International, Corn Products International, Inc. (http://ir.cornproducts.com) has informed Bunge Limited (www.bunge.com ) of its "Board of Directors' intent to withdraw its recommendation in favor of adoption of the previously announced merger agreement with Bunge and recommend against adoption of the merger agreement."
