Kellogg's Company recently report it is "putting a hold" on its Austin and Keebler branded Toasted Peanut Butter Sandwich Crackers, Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich Crackers, Cheese and Peanut Butter Sandwich Crackers, and Peanut Butter-Chocolate Sandwich Crackers.
The reason for the hold is based on concerns of a recent Salmonella outbreak that may have been caused by tainted peanut butter. One of Kellogg's suppliers, Peanut Corporation of America (PCA), is currently under investigation by the FDA and other regulatory agencies
According to a company statement, Kellogg's Co. has not received any consumer illness complaints about the products.
