ADM Sells LSI to Chicago Sweeteners

Archer Daniels Midland Company announced the sale of LSI, a distribution operating group within the Company’s Corn Processing business, to Chicago Sweeteners. The operations of LSI, which sold liquid and dry sweeteners, blends and specialty sweetener and starch products to customers in the western region of the United States, will become part of Chicago Sweeteners’ Ingredients International division, which also serves the western United States.
LSI was acquired by ADM in 2003 when the Company acquired Minnesota Corn Processors.
