JBS Buys Pilgrim’s Pride in U.S., Surpasses Tyson

According to a report on Bloomberg, Food Processing Top 100© ranked JBS US will buy control of bankrupt Pilgrim’s Pride Corp. in the U.S. and Bertin SA in Brazil. The purchase will put push JBS US over Tyson Foods as the top meat processor.
