NSF International Announces Final Call for Food Safety Leadership Awards

NSF International announced the final call for nominations for the 2010 Food Safety Leadership Awards (FSLA) Program. Nominations must be received by Friday, January 29, 2010.
Foodservice operators, manufacturers, researchers and members of academia are encouraged to submit nominations.
Winners will be recognized in one of eight awards categories: education, training, equipment design, packaging innovation, product development, research advances, system improvement, and technology breakthroughs. One individual will be recognized with a lifetime achievement award for his/her significant contributions to advancing food safety.
The 2010 FSLA award recipients will be announced at the Food Safety Summit on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, the morning prior to the keynote speech at the Washington, D.C. Convention Center.
Nominations will be evaluated by an independent panel of food safety experts based on creativity, innovation, design, contribution to the advancement of food safety, and overall quality of contributions made. The program guidelines are available on NSF's Web site.
