Farmer Hoping To Create Zero-Waste Pork Processing Plant

According to a recent report on FastCompany.com, Russ Kremer, a Missouri-based hog farmer and leader of the Heritage Acre Foods brand is installing the United States' first 100% biodiesel-powered, zero-waste pork processing plant.

His plan? Kremer intends to process Heritage Acre Foods pork then capture and reprocess the waste in a biodiesel plant. The biodesel would power the processing facility.
