Pinnacle Foods will spend $40-50 million on equipment, plant expansion and infrastructure improvements to move its Wish-Bone and Western salad dressing production in-house to its St. Elmo, Ill., plant, according to the Decatur (Ill.) Herald & Review.
Pinnacle acquired the brands from Unilever in October, and Unilever's facility in Independence, Mo., was previously responsible for dressing production.
