Novus International Launches Stratum Nutrition

Novus International has launched its human nutrition division, Stratum Nutrition.   Beginning in 2010, Stratum will focus its efforts on growing a portfolio of specialty and functional ingredients that target Business to Business manufacturers of foods, beverages and dietary supplements in North America and Europe.Novus International has been playing an active but behind-the-scenes role in human nutrition since inception in 1991.  The Novus vision is to help feed the world affordable, wholesome food and achieve a higher quality of life.  The company's competency is in creating science-based nutritional solutions for the daily health and welfare concerns that farmers have for their animals.  Stratum Nutrition seeks to develop a portfolio of branded, value-added ingredients for human health applications, selecting from both internally cultivated ingredient systems, as well as technology partnerships with third parties to bring innovative, safe and trusted new ingredients to the marketplace.  All branded ingredients offered by Stratum will share a common Research and Development philosophy including:  unique and/or patented technologies, solid intellectual property portfolio, strong scientific and clinical research base, and progressive product applications for franchise human health categories such as immune health, bone health, joint health, weight management and healthy aging.
