Sethness Greenleaf is celebrating 130 years a global flavor company. Sethness Greenleaf got its start in 1880 when Norwegian immigrant, Charles O. Sethness, established a syrup and water flavor factory in Chicago to serve the burgeoning beverage industry.

The company's flavors are regarded not only in beverages but also bakery, confectionery, and dairy product applications. According to the company, more than 40,000 flavors have been developed by Sethness Greenleaf’s flavor chemists and chefs.
