Chr. Hansen launches ColorFruit, a new range of natural reds with significantly improved stability to light and heat. ColorFruit products are developed from a blend of anthocyanins, natural colors derived from edible fruits and vegetables. They’re available in four new shades of red, pink, violet and purple for application in beverages, low- or non-ascorbic acid beverages, fruit preparations, confectionery and frozen novelties.
Research, development and application specialists at Chr. Hansen developed a unique technology to optimize intermolecular relationships between relevant anthocyanin molecules and selected stability conditions.
ColorFruit is Kosher, sulfur dioxide-free, and is produced at Chr. Hansen’s factory in Avedore, Denmark, according to ISO 9001:2000 organic standards.
