Melissa’s recently introduced three packaged vegetable varieties that will save users considerable time and labor. Onions and garlic are key ingredients in a multitude of dishes and cuisines, and precooked beets can be served as-is, dressed up or used as an ingredient.

Fresh Chopped Onions are ready-to-use onions in two delicious varieties: sweet yellow and sweet red. These value-added products come in an 8-ounce, resealable package (contents are roughly equivalent to two medium sized onions) and have a shelf life of three weeks.

Melissa's new Fresh Peeled Garlic comes in an 8-ounce package that holds the equivalent of four full bulbs. The peeled, ready-to-use garlic cloves are individually wrapped.

Tender Baby Red Beets are trimmed, peeled, steamed and ready to eat right out of the package. The 8-ounce package is vacuum-sealed to preserve the flavor and texture of a just-cooked beet. Preparing beets, which is a messy, time-consuming process when starting with the raw vegetable, is now as easy as opening a package.
