At the recent Food Processing Machinery Expo (FPME), Anderol Inc. launched its new compressor tribology product, FG Excel. The H1 (registration pending) synthetic lubricant extends application life three to five times longer than competitive compressor lubricants. FG Excel is formulated in accordance with 21 CFR 178.3570, Kosher, and Halal specifications to help food processors maintain production safety and reliability in rotary vane, screw, and lobe compressors.

The molecular structure of FG Excel helps minimize oil carryover, making this product an attractive alternative to investing in oil-less compressors, according to the manufacturer. The basestock and carefully selected additives promote a natural detergency and minimal coking and varnishing, increasing the service life of compressors. Its excellent lubricity and anti-wear characteristics also extend bearing and rotor life, providing companies with a strong return on lubricant investment.

FG Excel can also be utilized in R & O-type hydraulic systems and other rotating equipment, offering maintenance professionals opportunities for lubricant consolidation. Available in viscosity grades ranging from ISO 15 to 150, FG Excel is fully miscible with mineral oil-based products.
