WeighPack introduced the newest addition to their VFFS product line, the Vertek Jr. At 4 feet tall, the Vertek Jr. is said to be the most compact vertical form/seal available. Easily interfaced with any type of filling equipment, the Vertek Jr. with speeds of up to 50 cycles per minute, is reportedly ideal for bagging a variety of different products including all snack foods, hardware, coffee, produce and pharmaceuticals. Handling bag sizes 1 to 5 inches wide, the Vertek Jr. can seal either polyethylene or laminated films. Standard features include stainless steel construction, PLC controls, large memory storage and servo motor. Options such as hole punching, code dating and gas flush are also available.
