Roll-up door provides protection under harsh conditions
The HarshGuard roll-up door provides doorways with access protection under harsh conditions. Its unique tensioning system enables the door to maintain a seal under gusts up to 70 mph on a 10-by-12-foot door and prevents the curtain from blowing out of its guides. The door is also suitable for areas within the facility that have high positive/negative pressures. Enhanced door mechanics resist contamination, ice buildup and harsh environment factors. Non-corrosive materials and fasteners used withstand caustic and corrosive solutions used in food processing applications. The HarshGuard also can be supplied without the wind-load tensioning system for interior room separation. Standard on the door is a totally enclosed motor than can take the door speed up to 50 inches per second for fast entry and exit. While more costly doors can go faster, for a standard eight-by-10-foot doorway the difference in room exposure time is less than a second.
