Chef-inspired nut line features a unique glazing process

Even the most health conscious snacker craves a sweet indulgence from time to time. Seattle-based Sahale Snacks, introduces three new varieties to it’s lightly sweet Glazed Nuts line, which combines whole nuts with unique flavors and all-natural ingredients to satisfy the conscientious consumer's need for a sophisticated snack.

Adding tree nuts to a diet can lower cholesterol, reduce the risk of heart disease and curb appetites. Tree nuts are also low in saturated fat and high in good-for-you polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats. They are loaded with protein, fiber, vitamins and antioxidants.

Handcrafted varieties include: Almond PB&J with Peanuts + Berries (whole almonds paired with peanuts and complemented with the summertime taste of raspberries and strawberries); Cashews with Pomegranate + Vanilla (pomegranate, vanilla and cashews balanced with vanilla bean) and Almonds with Cranberries, Honey + Sea Salt (almonds lightly glazed with orange blossom honey, enhanced with naturally dried cranberries and topped with toasted sesame seeds and sea salt for salty-sweet symmetry).

The chef-inspired Glazed Nut line maintains exceptional flavors through all-natural processing without the use of high-fructose corn syrup, highly-processed sweeteners or anything artificial. Using Sahale Snacks' glazing process, small batches of premium nuts and dried fruit pieces are glazed in kettles with organic, evaporated cane juice and natural fruits. The glazed nuts are then finished in a dry roasting process, which seals in the light sweetness and the decadent flavor-filled crunch. This unique glazing process achieves an authentic balance of flavors from each of the carefully selected, gourmet ingredients, such as pure Madagascar vanilla bean.
