Safeguard Technology's Hi-Traction Retrofit Covers are custom manufactured for installation over Steps, Walkways and Ladders. USDA accepted, these Covers are easily installed with no downtime using mechanical fasteners and/or adhesive to provide a long-term solution to temporary paints, tapes and rubber treads.

An aggregate surface is bonded in a multi-step patented process to your choice of Stainless Steel or Pultruded FRP base material. Choose from six grades of coarseness and a variety of colors, including Photoluminescent “Glow-in-the-Dark”. Combine colors for a two-tone configuration or incorporate custom colors; company logos or descriptive messaging. Resistant to temperatures and impact, Safeguard® Covers far exceed OSHA & ADA guidelines for coefficient of friction values (even when wet, oily and dusty) and withstand power washing & steam cleaning.

• Accepted by the U.S.D.A. for food processing plants.
• Able to handle the tough sanitation and cleaning of greasy environments at food and beverage processing facilities. The covers exhibit excellent anti-corrosion properties and can withstand high pressure alkaline power washing. They also perform well in other diverse environments from cold storage and freezer units to high heat baking areas.
• Available in Stainless Steel or lightweight, corrosion resistant Pultruded FRP Composite.
• Offered in a range of colors including safety yellow, gray, black, and two-tone. Photoluminescent (glow-in-the-dark) is also available to provide safe plant egress during an emergency.
