High-performance synthetic lube line
Mobil SHC Cibus Series is a new line of synthetic, food-grade lubricants that had its U.S. debut at Worldwide Food Expo in October 2009. The line is suitable for the full spectrum of hydraulic, gear and air compressor applications, providing food & beverage processors with high performance lubrication and long service life, even under extreme operating conditions such as freezers and cookers. In addition to being manufactured in equipment where cross contamination is minimized, Mobil SHC Cibus lubricants are formulated to be nut-, wheat- and gluten-free and suitable under Kosher and Halal dietary laws. Engineered with advanced synthetic base stocks, the oils, exhibit good load-carrying properties and low internal friction, helping to reduce energy costs. In proprietary worm gear bench tests, they demonstrated up to 3 percent overall efficiency improvement compared to mineral gear oils.Company Information
