ORAC-15M High ORAC Value Antioxidant now GRAS Affirmed

Ethical Naturals Inc. recently completed GRAS, the affirmation process for its ORAC-15M antioxidant ingredient.

ORAC-15M is a natural grape extract designed to bring defined levels of antioxidant activity to both supplements and beverages, and it is standardized to contain 80% polyphenols and 15,000 ORAC units/gram.  Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity is a method that quantifies the antioxidant levels in food and supplement compounds. It was developed by scientists at the National Institute on Aging, in the National Institute of Health. 

ORAC-15M also has high water solubility with a very low flavor and color profile.
