Nimble Balance Bar Combines Beauty and Nutrition for 120-Calorie Snack Bar

Balance Bar, Valhalla, N.Y., conveniently combines beauty and nutrition in a delicious, indulgent bar with the introduction of nimble, the first bar for women that is fortified with rich antioxidants, beta-carotene, which protects against UV damage, and 10mg of lutein, an important carotenoid found in green leafy vegetables such as spinach and kale.

A recent study found FloraGlo Lutein (a Kemin Health brand) significantly increased skin hydration by 38 percent over time in addition to improvement in skin elasticity.

Aside from vital nutrients for healthy skin, nimble also provides seven critical ingredients for women’s bodies: 10g of protein for lasting energy (100 percent whey protein and no soy); 5g of fiber for digestive health and satiety; calcium for bone health, muscle and nerve function; iron for resisting fatigue and poor concentration; folate for reproductive health; vitamin D, which aids the absorption of calcium; and vitamin B6, a micronutrient that provides a stabilizing effect to blood sugar and helps the immune system.
