Panera Bread Cherry Balsamic and Fuji Apple Salad Dressings Debut

St. Louis-based Arcobasso Foods Manufacturing Co., a full-service custom manufacturer and bottler of salad dressing, sauces, and marinades, will continue producing, bottling and shipping Panera Bread Salad Dressings to grocery retailers across the U.S. Newest flavors are Cherry Balsamic and Fuji Apple.

Panera Bread is one of the healthiest quick-casual restaurants, with salad sales exceeding $400 million per year and cafes growing in excess of 100 cafés per year. Arcobasso Foods worked with Panera Bread to launch their retail line of dressings in 2009.

"Arcobasso Foods was the first to provide Panera Bread with a better solution to producing fresh, healthy, specialty dressings among their growing number of cafes," says Arcobasso Foods President, Pat Newsham. "Today, Arcobasso Foods continues to be their main supplier of specialty bottled dressings, working with them to provide the same quality taste and healthy recipes to a growing number of Panera Bread locations and retailers".

Arcobasso Foods has grown along with Panera Bread, recently moving to a new $1.5 million, SQF Level 2 Certified facility. The larger facility will give customers the option to create even more unique products, with more choices for packaging their sauces and dressings, including plastic, PET and glass and will continue to produce specialty salad dressings for Panera in the future.
