Farmland Foods, a Kansas City, Mo., subsidiary of Smithfield Foods, introduces Oven Perfect Fresh Pork, a line of marinated fresh pork products that are dry-rub seasoned and ready to cook right in the bag. The meal solution eliminates prep and offers easy clean-up while serving up juicy, tender and delicious pork, perfect for the 33 percent of Americans who would purchase pork more often if it were easier to prepare.

Farmland's revolutionary cook-in-bag locks in juices, seals in flavor and self vents at the appropriate time to ensure the pork is perfectly browned. The bag is made of Mylar, which is FDA approved and BPA-free. Preparation is as easy as setting the oven temperature and timer, while cleanup is simply disposing the bag. In fact, the product's first TV commercial features the James Brown classic "Papa's Got a Brand New Bag." Oven Perfect can go directly from the refrigerator or freezer to the oven with no defrosting required. But if Papa desires, he can take the pork out of the bag and toss it on the grill.

Farmland Oven Perfect Fresh Pork is available in the fresh meat case in a variety of cuts and flavors, including Teriyaki Sesame Ginger Tenderloin, Southwest Style Peppercorn Pork Chop, Parmesan Garlic Herb Loin Filet, BBQ Mesquite Baby Back Ribs and Portobello Pepper Filet of Pork.
