Yo-Quick Introduces Instant Goat Milk Yogurt

March 28, 2013
Yo-Quick's Instant Goat Milk Yogurt is made from powdered goat milk and is available in three flavors -- Blueberry Blast, Sensational Strawberry and Very Vanilla.

Yogurt by any measure is one of today's fastest-growing food products, in particular among the health- and wellness-seeking consumer. But yogurt's refrigeration requirement can be limiting among those who embrace the outdoors. New instant Yo-Quick! from Mt. Capra Products, Chehalis, Wash. was designed as a solution for that limitation.

Made from powdered goat milk, the product is shelf-stable, lightweight, and easy to carry in a backpack. Available in three flavors -- Blueberry Blast, Sensational Strawberry and Very Vanilla -- Yo-Quick! is ready to eat in three steps. First, open the packet and empty its contents into any shaker cup or bowl with lid. Next, add 5-6 tablespoons of cold water (2.5-3 oz). And last, shake vigorously for 60 seconds.

Mt. Capra uses a low-temperature drying technology to manufacture Yo-Quick! This enables the product to retain the nutritional value of the original fluid product. Further, Yo-Quick! yogurt contains shelf-stable probiotic cultures that are recognized for promoting digestive health and supporting the immune system.

Yo Quick! is avaialble to retailers in cardboard merchandisers that house a dozen packets. Each 1-oz. packet makes a half-cup serving and comes with a suggested retail price of $2.25.
