The supplier claims it's nutritiously superior to other processed flours, with each quarter cup containing 6g protein, 3.5g fiber and 75mg of calcium, as well as mono-unsaturated good fats. Almond flour is low on the glycemic index, is naturally gluten-free and a good source of vitamin E. It's usable in a variety of applications, from cakes and crusts, to breading and sauces. The vendor offers three almond flour options: Extra Fine Natural, Extra Fine Blanched and Fine Blanched.
