Chobani adds hot peppers to its Flip line, the side-by-side yogurt designed for “flipping” flavorful inclusions into yogurt. According to the company, the rather new interactive line has been embraced by Greek yogurt consumers during a time when Greek yogurt cup sales have started to flatten. The new “heat meets sweet” Flip options are Chipotle Pineapple and Sriracha Mango. There’s also a new Peanut Butter & Jelly variety, as well as limited-batch Peppermint Perfection. The suggested retail price for a 5.3-oz. container is $1.49.

Chobani is also growing its other Greek yogurt lines. In the mainstream category, consumers can now purchase 16-oz. containers of 0 percent fat Plain, Whole Milk Honey and Whole Milk Vanilla; and 5.3-oz. containers of Raspberry (in a four-pack) and individual containers of limited-batch Apple Cinnamon and limited-batch Maple. The suggested retail prices are $3.29, $3.99 and $1.39, respectively. In the Simply 100 line, there are five new flavors: Blueberry Cookie Crumble, Mango Cone Crisp, Mixed Red Berry Blended, Strawberry Banana Blended and Strawberry Chocolate Truffle. The suggested retail price for each 5.3-oz. container is $1.39. Not to be forgotten the kids’ category has a new four-pack of 3.5-oz. pouches of Tots Apple.
