New High-Temp Assembly Paste Protects Food-Process Machinery Hygienically

Klüber Lubrication offers Klüberpaste UH1 96-402, a light-colored, high-temperature paste designed for assembly applications in hygienically sensitive, high temperature food processing and pharmaceutical environments.

Bringing a higher level of lubricant performance at high temperatures, Klüberpaste UH1 96-402 is a specially formulated water-resistant lubricant and assembly paste. Klüberpaste UH1 96-402 provides excellent adhesion on high-alloy-steel screw connections during normal operations up to 320°F (160°C). At permanent temperatures up to 2192°F (1200°C), it protects against tribocorrosion and/or fretting corrosion, even under higher loads.

To deliver high-temp performance, Klüberpaste UH1 96-402 is formulated with fully synthetic base oils and a special blend of ceramic solid lubricants. In addition to providing long-term lubrication of low-speed guide rails, hinges and rollers, Klüberpaste UH1 96-402 is ideal as an assembly paste for:

  • Transition and loose fits to prevent fretting corrosion
  • Screw connections based on high-alloy steels to optimize the tightening torque and demounting, even after long operating periods

Klüberpaste UH1 96-402 is NSF H1 registered and is suitable for a variety of friction points in food-processing and pharmaceutical machinery that are subject to high loads.
