Eighth graders reply: ‘Tastes like a chewy Pop-Tart.’

Nutri-Grain Cereal Bars — Blueberry
Kellogg Co., Battle Creek, Mich.

Lindsay Toland, 8th grade:
As I took a bite out of this delectable snack, I thought to myself, “This is one of the best-tasting, on-the-go snacks I have ever sunk my teeth into.” The packaging is easy to open for those on-the-road meals, and the taste is absolutely delicious! I can definitely see any age group craving this product. The taste fills my mouth with bursts of berry goodness, and the texture is soft and supple for even the elderly to enjoy.

Quincy Clegg, 8th grade:
The blueberry-flavored Nutri-Grain bar tastes like sweet blueberry jam inside a soft, grainy breading. When you bite into it, it’s soft and easy to eat, and the bar kind of smells like jam. The wrapper is really easy to open, and this would be a good snack for people of any age.

Emily Fishkin, 8th grade:
It’s really sweet – almost too sweet. That’s not usually a bad thing, but I think in this case it is. It’s really oaty, and that sort of affects the texture. It’s pretty crumbly. It smells fine, like cold blueberry pie. The wrapper is appealingly blue and shiny and easy to open. My dad would like this product. He enjoys oatmeal, whereas I am (and have always been) a Lucky Charms kind of gal.

Frank Stelter-Hogh, 8th grade:
It is blueberry, and it is decent. It’s soft and smells good. The packaging isn’t very appealing, but it’s easy to open. Anyone can use this product.

Ellie Kirk, 8th grade:
The Nutri-Grain bar tastes like a blueberry muffin. It is soft and squishy and has a fresh-baked smell. The packaging is very shiny and noticeable. I think that children and teens would use this product because it is sweet.

Ben Sommer, 8th grade:
I personally didn’t like the Nutri-Grain bar, never have. It’s like mushy and smells way too much like blueberry to be natural. I would think that ultra-healthy adults would like them.

Gillian McMurray, 8th grade:
These blueberry Nutri-Grain Cereal Bars have very bright packaging, and they smell great as soon as you open the bag. They’re soft and chewy, a little sticky inside, but they taste great. I think teenagers and older people should eat these bars because little children really wouldn’t want to eat them.

Everett Wood, 8th grade:
I think this product tastes very good. The texture is smushy and soggy, but still good. I think the smell strongly is of blueberry and grain, which is great since I love blueberries. The packaging is shiny with blue and white colors, which I think are appealing. All ages would like this because it’s soft, and it’s good for babies.

Marcus Wallace, 8th grade:

Allison Wint, 8th grade:
It tastes like blueberries with bread. The texture is soft and sweet and the smell is of blueberry. The packaging is appealing and it’s easy to open. I think these are great for five-and-older.

Josh Irving, 8th grade:
The Nutri-Grain Blueberry Cereal Bar tastes good. It tastes like blueberries and soft bread. I love it. It is smooth and soft, smells like a blueberry, and is not hard to open. Everybody should use this product.

Vanessa Flores, 8th grade:
Nutri-Grain bars are soft, and, when you put one in your mouth, you feel that softness. It kind of tastes like a savory gum, and it has that shiny and blue blueberry in it. It has a very easy-to-open package and is a product for everyone.
