Join Food Processing on LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.

FoodProcessing.com wants YOU!

Thanks to the wonders of social media, you can connect with other members of the food industry at the click of a mouse (and maybe a few keystrokes).

Social networking sites like LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter have made it possible to find, meet and network with people that have similar interests or backgrounds.

And FoodProcessing.com happens to be on all three:

• Food Processing Network Group on LinkedIn. With less than a month under its belt, our Food Processing group has grown from zero to 60-plus members. That’s at least two people per day joining a network of food processors, ingredient suppliers, and equipment suppliers. Membership is free – all you need is a LinkedIn profile – and you’ll be privy to a community of like-minded food industry professionals. Our group offers the opportunity to post discussion questions, comment on discussions and much more. To join, you can search for Food Processing Network on LinkedIn or copy and type the URL above into your internet browser.

• FoodProcessing.com on Twitter. Twitter is the best new social media tool you may have never heard of. Considered a form of blogging called “microblogging,” Twitter allows you 140 characters to answer the question “What are you doing?” What Twitterers are doing is finding and following thousands of people and/or brands. Follow FoodProcessing on Twitter and you’ll receive up-to-the minute updates on stories we’re working on, news feeds as well as good conversation about the food industry in general.
• FoodProcessing on Facebook. I know what you’re thinking: “Isn’t Facebook for my kids?” Quite the opposite. Facebook is one of the fastest-growing social media tools for the 25-34 year old demographic. If you’re on Facebook and would like to join the Food Processing Facebook Page, you can search for Food Processing or copy and type the URL above into your internet browser. Similar to our LinkedIn Group, our Facebook page includes news feeds and discussion boards.
