Aug. 30, 2012
Food Processing's Food Funnies, a monthly feature guaranteed to give you a good laugh.

Congratulations to Kirby Hostetler for the winning August Caption!

I think we’re going to need a few more of these.

Here at Food Processing, we understand how stressful life can be so we're encouraging you to take 5 minutes to add a little fun into your life. Food Funnies is our way of letting you take a break from all the serious stuff you deal with at work —  by coming up with appropriate light-hearted captions.

Here's how it works: Submit your caption, via email, for the cartoon that appears below. The winning caption will be featured on the FoodProcessing.com Web site, our Facebook page, and in an upcoming FoodProcessing.com eNewsletter.

Well, what do you know.  Yellow and blue do make green.

It’s all natural, GMO-free, Organic and Kosher.  Care for some water?

Ummmm – I think we can still call it food.

Should be huge seller! It’s a blend of everything on my bench. I call it “Essence of Left Overs”.

We could market it as the new McDonald’s 'Breakfast for under a dollar'

Do you think there is a market for cloned "factory seconds" and "irregulars"?

I know it’s green but if we call it ‘snot, at least the kids will eat it.

Why not add a touch of Drano. It won’t help the taste but may numb their tastebuds long enough to be able to swallow it.

It tastes great and is calorie free! Does it have to be edible?

Ahh! The next best tasting allergen…what should we call it

Don’t know what it is!  but it tastes great…lets sell it quick before they say we can’t

Would you like ranch dip with your broccoli?

Tell the customer that this is definitely clean label.

CCP (Critical Control Point)?

It may cause heart damage, liver failure and blindness, but it’s FAT FREE!

Are you sure that you followed the formula?

What about "Pea-ZZa"?

Be the first to try "MARS" water, it is out of this world..........

Can’t wait to see what Marketing calls this one!
