For difficult-to-mill products
The Corundum Disk Mill MCD 2000 is an inline mill for wet milling and grinding of viscous liquid or paste-like products. The mixing chamber consists of two corundum disks, one rotary and one stationary, available in different grain sizes (grit) depending on the grinding process requirements. The axially movable stator is pressed against the rotor, which runs at a high speed. The high shear forces produce a finely milled product between the rotor and stator, which is then discharged through the lateral outlet of the milling chamber. Features include a feeding module with a funnel and an auger, a cooling jacket integrated in the housing to prevent excessive heating of the product, milling disks available in different grain sizes to suit different applications and a stable bearing of the drive shaft. The machine is also belt driven and vibration free with low noise levels.

Dicer that sprints
The Sprint 2 dicer features various motor and cutting options. The dicer accepts an infeed product up to 6.5 inches of any dimension for vegetables, fruits, meats, seafood, candy, snacks and bakery products. A dial-in slice knob locks in close tolerances, and a compact cutting zone makes cutting transitions smooth. Cutting parts are easily removed and replaced while lubrication points are fully accessible on the exterior of the machine. Options include an insert slicing knife and L-shaped handles that allow removal of slice gates without additional tools.

Multi-simultaneous frequency metal detector
The Profile Advantage metal detector achieves 30-50 percent higher sensitivity with multi-simultaneous frequency technology that analyzes product signal data captured across a wide spectrum of frequencies to achieve high levels of detection. In addition, the detector’s Product Signal Suppression eliminates false incidences triggered by suppressing the active and unwanted signals often produced with high-moisture products, such as meat, dairy and bakery products, saving running costs and reducing product waste.

Low headroom bulk bag discharger
The company’s caster portable low headroom bulk bag discharger features an exclusive sanitary no tube penetration design with all components mounted on a welded solid-body stand-offs to prevent product build-up. A bulk bag massaging system promotes material flow while a stainless steel round bag spout access chamber with gull wing doors enables easy operator access. In addition, a stainless steel discharge transition that includes an air-actuated docking nozzle allows sealed discharging into existing product streams.

Bow tie dispensers
Quickly wet-out solids and incorporate them into a liquid vehicle with a uniform consistency without running at high speeds with the company’s bow tie dispensers. Also called high viscosity dispensers, the equipment mixes heavy pastes and viscous liquids and are said to be best suited for resuspending dense materials that have packed into layers during storage or transit. The dispenser can be supplied with a vacuum-rated mix vessel with a heating/cooling jacket, thermocouple, sight/charge ports on the vessel cover and caster wheels for easy movement.

Meal depositor systems
The company’s meal depositing lines operate at speeds up to 320 meals per minute and are available in single or multi-lane systems. The lines feature tray denesters, industrial servo or conventional piston depositors, traveling spout bridges and transfer pumps. The servo depositors make the lines suitable for high-speed applications where a high degree of accuracy and control are required, such as gravies, sauces, meat, chicken and meals including macaroni and cheese, noodle casseroles, mashed potatoes and desserts.

Multi-spectrum metal detectors
Eliminate the waste and delay of false rejects with the CEIA MS-21 multi-spectrum metal detector. With no reduction in sensitivity, the device detects the smaller particles of all metals, including type 316 stainless steel. The detectors use simultaneous and continuous spectrum of frequencies to accurately distinguish between metal contaminants and product effect conditions without reducing metal detection sensitivity, preventing product errors for difficult-to-inspect products such as cheese, fresh spinach, tortillas, ground meat, ice cream and ready-to-eat meals.

Digital sorter with analytics
Information Analytics is a powerful suite of software capabilities now embedded within the company's digital sorters. It allows processors to collect, analyze and share data to help manage operations and increase yields while reducing costs. Data can include the objects’ dimensions, color and other image information, good product characteristics, defects and foreign material (FM) details, every aspect of the sorting operation such as detection activity of specific defect categories, ejection activity and more. Processors of fresh and processed fruits and vegetables, potato products, nuts, snack foods, confections, seafood, coffee, wine grapes, and other products can identify their data of interest and work with the company to customize a solution.

Paddlewheel gets buried
Monitor dry bulk material levels even when the paddle is buried in material with the company’s Roto-Bin-Dicator Pro. The unit comes standard with functional diagnostics that detect a unit fault when the paddle is buried and can differentiate between faults through a number of flashing sequences on an LED light. Other features include universal power, more than 10 process fitting options, time delay, motor pause, sensitivity adjustments and test FOB that can be used to check the functionality without removing the cover.
