Happy Father’s Day

Sunday is Father's Day, a day to celebrate with the most important man in your life. Omaha Steaks has discovered a connection between the personality traits of individuals and the types of steaks they prefer. The findings of a recent informal survey conducted by the Omaha Steaks Product Development Team indicate that individual preferences in favorite steaks are directly linked to a well-defined group of common personality characteristics. Here are the team's observations: Dads who prefer Filet Mignons are mild-mannered, tender-hearted, meticulous and enjoy simple elegance; Ribeye aficionados are even-tempered, strive for balance in life and have laid-back attitudes with a bit of a maverick spirit; Strip Loins are passionate and somewhat indulgent, with strong personalities and take-charge attitudes; and Top Sirloins are mainstream with down to earth attitudes and a "what you see is what you get" philosophy of life. "For generations, our customers have indicated that steaks make a great Father's Day gift," says Omaha Steaks senior vice president and family owner Todd Simon. "Our recent survey was designed to help customers to determine exactly which steaks their Dads would enjoy most." Happy Father’s Day to all the 64.3 million (according to the Census Bureau) dads out there who work hard, support the dreams and aspirations of their families, and happily thank their kids for one more tie, wrench, golf shirt or burnt breakfast.
