Kellogg Company is collaborating with Future Food-Tech to launch a start-up innovation challenge. The Michigan-based food company is seeking pitches on unique plant-based ideas that support digestive wellness.

The Innovation Challenge will be hosted at the virtual Future Food-Tech summit March 11-12, 2021.

Start-ups can apply their entrepreneurial and scientific skills to show how their technology could help develop a new microbiome-based solution that improves gut wellness, but they'll need to do it fast. The submission deadline is February 5.

According to a Kellogg's, judges will select the innovative and impactful ideas that will move into the live pitch round during a live-streamed virtual Future Food-Tech Summit on March 11.

"We have a passion for identifying and investing in great ideas" said Simon Burton, managing director of eighteen94 Capital . "We're thrilled about the opportunity to seek out technologically-oriented, creative solutions for improving the health of the microbiome, and to help bring them to life."

Kellogg established eighteen94 in 2016 to invest in companies pursuing next-generation food innovation, bolstering access to cutting-edge ideas and trends.
