5th annual program focuses on improving the aging process through wellness and health management.

PepsiCo is seeking applications for its fifth annual Greenhouse Accelerator program, this year with a focus on breakthrough innovations and technologies that improve the aging process through wellness and health management. There's a Dec. 9 deadline.

"As the pandemic continues, PepsiCo is committed to growing promising innovations and technologies that help people live life with vitality," the company said. Companies from around the globe can win up to $100,000 in funding and get access to PepsiCo subject matter experts, resources and curriculum of business and training, in addition to research & development experience.

PepsiCo’s Greenhouse Accelerator is a six-month, mentor-guided program supporting the acceleration of emerging and disruptive brands, ingredients, technologies and services that are transforming the ways consumers eat, drink and live their lives. It's especially suited to startups and entrepreneurs.

Applications are open through Dec. 9. In January, PepsiCo will select up to 10 winners to be part of the program and receive a $20,000 grant. Along with the funding, the entrepreneurs will benefit from PepsiCo mentors who can advise on brand optimization, product development, supply chain management, customer acquisition, distribution and more.

Companies will execute an initiative to demonstrate collaboration and tangible results. In March, companies will share their initiative progress and present updates in a virtual event to the evaluation committee.

In June, PepsiCo will award one company a $100,000 grant to continue growing their business. More information and applications details are at greenhouseaccelerator.com.
