D.G. Yuengling & Son has launched a partnership with Molson Coors that will expand the footprint of its products in America.
The partnership, announced Sept. 15, will allow Yuengling beer to be distributed farther West, beyond the 22 mostly Eastern states where it’s now available. The partnership is scheduled to launch in the second half of 2021 and will be governed by a board of directors consisting evenly of Yuengling and Molson Coors family members and executives. D.G. Yuengling & Son will remain a family-owned business, and the existing company will operate separately from the joint venture with Molson Coors. Molson Coors facilities will brew Yuengling beer under the supervision of Yuengling brewers.
"We are excited to work with the Molson Coors' team on this partnership," said Jennifer Yuengling, vice president of operations and a sixth-generation family member at Yuengling. "Fans can expect the same Yuengling recipes and great taste they have come to love for more than 190 years."
