Missouri Governor Vetoes Two Bills That Could Spell Trouble for Smithfield Purchase

Several states in the Midwest -- Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wisconsin -- have laws on their books that prohibit foreign ownership of agricultural land.
