Process Expo Rebrands, Will Be Called EATS Starting with 2025 Edition
Messe Frankfurt Inc. and the Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA), organizers of Process Expo, shared that the biennial trade show would be rebranded with a new name and identity, as well as a tweak to the strategic vision, during Process Expo 2023 earlier this week in Chicago.
Starting with the 2025 event, the show will become EATS: The Equipment And Technology Show for Food & Beverage. The partners also unveiled a new logo and a sharpened focus on the key drivers for exhibitors and attendees to drive the success of EATS moving forward.
“It’s not just a name change, it’s carrying forward a new vision,” explained Constantin von Vieregge, president and CEO of Messe Frankfurt. “EATS will be the platform where innovation, collaboration and progress thrive to create a strong business, knowledge, and a growth-driven environment for the industry.”
EATS marks a pivotal shift in the innovative approach to expand the show. The event will structure itself around eight targeted areas: bakery, beverage, cannabis, dairy, pet foods, prepared foods, proteins and sweets.
It is anticipated that some of the unique features of Process Expo — such as the Women’s Alliance Breakfast, the Defeat Hunger campaign and the operating processing line demonstrations on the show floor — will continue with EATS as they have been popular with past attendees and exhibitors.
The first EATS show is scheduled for Oct. 28-30, 2025, at McCormick Place in Chicago.
