Flagship Food Group Rebrands as Insignia International
Flagship Food Group, parent firm of a number of Hispanic and Southwestern food brands, has rebranded itself as Insignia International (www.insignia.gg).
“ ‘Insignia’ is the Spanish word for flagship, and this natural and elegant evolution of the name makes it clear that we are committed to premium Hispanic and Southwestern products and flavors, and that today we embark on an exciting, dynamic new future,” said CEO Adam Butler.
The company recently acquired several Hispanic food brands -- La Tortilla Factory, Young Guns and Mama Lupe’s -- and launched nearly 50 new items over the past two years. Existing brands include 505 Southwestern and Yucatan Guacamole.
Butler was just named CEO of the company in November after 17 years at Kraft Heinz. Other new leaders include Jason Parasco as chief sales officer (he was senior vice president and head of sales at Sovos Brands), Scott Frick as chief operating officer (he was Kraft Heinz’s vice president of supply chain management), Vikramjeet Singh as chief growth officer (formerly with Kraft Heinz and Unilever) and Mayank Singh as head of R&D (handled R&D at Conagra Foods).
The company is headquartered near Denver with operations and offices in Idaho, California, Minnesota, Kansas, New Mexico and Mexico.
