Amy’s Kitchen has announced plans to open a new facility in San Jose, Calif.

Amy’s Kitchen, an independent processor of organic and high-end frozen foods, has announced plans to open a new facility in San Jose, Calif.

The new plant is scheduled to be ready to run by the first quarter of 2021, and will hire about 180 employees. It will be about 65.000 square feet.

Amy’s Kitchen has facilities in Santa Rosa, Calif.; White City, Ore.; and Pocatello, Idaho. In addition, another facility is under construction in Goshen, N.Y., and is scheduled for completion in 2022.
