The Frito-Lay unit of PepsiCo is investing $200 million to expand its plant in Perry, Ga., which will make it the largest Frito-Lay plant in America.

The expansion of the plant in Perry, about 95 miles southeast of Atlanta, will add 120 jobs to the region, according to the Development Authority of Houston County.

The site has 15 production lines, making products including Lay’s, Doritos, Fritos, Cheetos, Tostitos, Ruffles, Rold Gold, SunChips, Stacy’s, Smartfood, Funyun’s and more. The expansion will add a line producing Frito-Lay tortilla chip products, a second line producing Baked Cheetos Puffs, a warehouse building and space for a future manufacturing line. The total expansion will be about 225,000 square feet.  Completion is expected by the third quarter of 2021.

“We are so excited to finally share this with the public and let everyone know about the great job possibilities that are now available,” Angie Gheesling, executive director of the Development Authority of Houston County, told WGXA-TV.
