Tyson Foods Relocating Corporate Employees Arkansas World Headquarters

The protein processor says the move will 'foster closer collaboration and enable faster decision making' with its team members.

Tyson Foods announced today it is moving more than 1,000 corporate team members from its Chicago; Downers Grove, Il; and Dakota Dunes, SD office and consolidating them into the company's Springdale, Arkansas headquarters. The move comes as the company tries to bill itself as OneTyson.

In a statement, the company says the move will 'foster closer collaboration and enable faster decision making' with its team members. The relocation process will begin in early 2023. As part of the move, Tyson is expanding its Springdale location to include indoor and outdoor spaces that are said to foster collaboration, connection and creativity.

Last week, Tyson was in the news when it announced John R. Tyson was taking over as CFO after Stuart Glendinning moved to the role of group president of prepared foods October 2.
